Two ArcticSoft University alumni have launched NorthReach Health, a remote telehealth startup designed for communities with limited in‑person care.

The pilot will begin this winter in villages accessible primarily by air or seasonal roads, offering urgent care consults, prescription refills, and behavioral health check‑ins via low‑bandwidth tools.

“Our goal is equitable access—no one should forgo care because of distance,” said co‑founder Maya Okpik ’19.

The team is partnering with local clinics to ensure continuity of care and plans to expand services based on community feedback.
